I am a 20-year entertainment industry veteran and writing specialist recently transplanted to Colorado. A busy writing consultant and editor, I also teach creative writing and screenwriting across the Front Range for community colleges, writers groups, conferences, and one-on-one. I oversee teen writers critique groups for NCW, and am the founder of the Explorati Teen Writers Boot Camp. I'm also completing her MFA at the University of California Riverside.

During my tenure in Los Angeles, four of my screenplays were optioned. I produced three independent films and consulted on thousands of scripts. As a studio development executive, I spent eight years consulting for HBO, was assistant director of Leonardo DiCaprio's online ventures, worked at a massively multi-player online role-playing game company, and made ringtones for 20th Century Fox.

I've been doing more consulting work on manuscripts of all genres and I love it! As an editor, I provide comprehensive feedback from a story and structure perspective as well as talk about what's working (or not) on a line-by-line level. It's great fun, and I like being able to provide my clients with a master class in their own writing.
