Food for Thought (members only)

Join your fellow NCW members for a virtual lunch and learn. We'll start each Food for Thought by watching a short video on writing or story craft, then discuss. Pack a lunch and let's learn together on the second Friday, from 12:00pm-1:00pm.

Member Coffee (members only)

At member coffees, we have a short presentation on a topic related to writing or publishing, followed by a question and answer period. All questions (on any writing topic) are welcome.  Join us on the third Tuesday from 10am-noon.

Pen @ the Pub (members only)

NCW's nighttime write-in. Bring your latest work-in-progress and get to penning your next best piece among peers (and beers!). Though now that this is a virtual event, you will have to provide your own beverages :) Now on the last Thursday, from 5:30pm-7:30pm.

Classes & Workshops

We'll offer periodic classes and workshops on writing related topics. Past classes have focused on editing, freelancing, marketing and various types of craft. Let us know what you'd like to learn about!
