Eleanor was in higher education marketing in Ann Arbor, Michigan for 12 years. Now she lives in Northern Colorado and works as a writer on projects for the Department of Defense as well as a freelance writing business. She is active with the Northern Colorado Writers as well as the Aspen Writers Network. Eleanor received her M.A. in English from Eastern Michigan University and has been writing fiction as often as time permits. Eleanor has had her fiction published in The Huron River Review, Current Magazine, and Offbeat Literary Journaland non-fiction published in the Ann Arbor News, The Aspen Magazine, The Aspen Sojourner, Edible Aspen, Career Focus magazine, The Welding Journal, Cornucopia Magazine(Turkey) and several others. In 2019,Eleanor’s novel Bangkok Butterflieswon first place in the Colorado Gold Fiction Competition for the mystery/suspense category. Eleanor teaches creative writing and helps students and adults find their stories. She has attended several writing workshops over the years including: Tin House, Provincetown Fine Arts Working Center, Taos Writing Conference, Third Coast, and Aspen Summer Words Novel Editing Workshop. Eleanor is putting the finishing touches on two thrillers that she hopes to be published soon.
