When Art Ignites Words: an ekphrastic workshop

When one art describes and/or responds to another, each can ignite further understanding of and delight in the other. In this workshop, we will look at a few ekphrastic poems, and then write twice in response to pieces of art. You can choose from a list of "approaches" to respond in poetry to visual art in ArtWorks exhibits or in one of many books about art.
