As writers of fiction, we have to make a lot of decisions.  One of the things that can make or break a story is how it is being told. Deciding on Point of View can feel perilous because no matter how well we think we know it, we stumble. Choosing a POV can feel like an obstacle course: Head-hopping. Keeping the verb tense consistent. Weak voices. Just like witness statements in a crime can throw off the facts, mistakes in POV can throw off a story and demoralize a reader.

In this 90-minute class, JC Lynne will guide you through the various POVs, show you some of the payoffs and pitfalls, and offer you the tools to manage your unruly characters no matter whodunnit.
